The tire pressure monitoring system originated in the 1990s. According to a survey by the Society of Automotive Engineers, 260,000 traffic accidents in the United States every year are caused by low tire pressure or leakage, and 75% of tire failures each year are also due to tire leakage or insufficient inflation. In our country, local traffic safety management departments report that 46% of highway traffic accidents are caused by tire failure, with blowouts accounting for 70% of these incidents. Tire pressure monitoring system (Tire pressure monitoring system), its main function is to monitor the tire pressure of automobiles to ensure driving safety. Due to the important impact of tire pressure on driving safety, many countries around the world have adopted policies and regulations to make tire pressure monitoring devices a standard feature of new cars. The tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) can be divided into direct and indirect methods based on how they detect tire pressure. Direct TPMS Tools, for instance, measure the actual pressure inside each tire and can alert the driver to which specific tire is experiencing low pressure. On the other hand, indirect TPMS compares the relative pressure between the four tires, but it cannot specify which tire has an issue. Although direct TPMS offers higher performance, its cost is notably higher compared to its indirect counterpart. TPMS has a simple structure but requires high stability and a long service life. Direct TPMS is often installed on the tire itself and uses wireless communication to transmit pressure data. Consequently, it needs air pressure and temperature detection units, as well as a wireless communication unit. Installed on the car wheel hub, TPMS operates under high-speed and high-temperature conditions, with a service life typically exceeding 5 years. These high operational demands necessitate robust design and stability. TPMS system  for passenger cars consists of four transmitters and an optional tire pressure information receiver. Through real-time data transmission via wireless radio frequency, it can alert the driver to low pressure or leakage issues, ensuring safety. The direct TPMS system measures the air pressure inside each tire and provides real-time feedback to the driver. With ongoing improvements in vehicle safety performance standards globally, direct tire pressure monitoring systems are expected to become the standard for automotive tire pressure monitoring in the future.
